WELFARE HAS ALWAYS BEEN AT THE TOP OF OUR AGENDA

Our birds live on seeds and grain, supplemented by grass from the meadows where they groom, forage, socialise and nap from dawn until dusk. At night, they roost in our unique high-welfare roosting barns.

We believe it's important to create a stress-free environment. Hens (just like people), have individual preferences about when to get up in the morning and when to go to sleep at night. Dinton Farm hens are free to choose.

Not all chickens like to hurry off to bed.

Nobody makes them go out at a set time in the morning, so if they want to roost for a little longer, they can. This is just one of the many ways that we endeavour to make their lives as calm and stress-free as possible. They've even been known to enjoy a bedtime story!

Our birds live in a cleaner, greener environment and reward us with the most delicious eggs!

Some chickens don't rise until midday!
