WE ARE THE ONLY UK HEN EGG PRODUCER WITH CONSERVATION GRADE CERTIFICATION

"Conservation Grade is pledged to restoring farming sustainability. Its farming protocols concentrate on achieving ecological sustainability in food production through Nature Friendly Farming. Independent scientific trials demonstrate that this approach leads to a significant increase in biodiversity compared to conventional farming systems."

Brown henDinton Farm was recently awarded Conservation Grade status, in recognition of work at our 360 acre grassland and arable land in Aston Abbots, where we plant and harvest our own high quality grain for feeding our hens, thus reducing any travel miles involved in our egg production.

Food grown in this way is better for our hens and fair to nature keeping our hens happy and our British countryside bright, beautiful and buzzing. We have also dedicated a large area of our land to wildflower meadows and grasses. Around these meadows, we have placed beehives and identified several sites where we plan to erect roosting boxes for barn owls.

We constantly strive to find ways to improve the environment for our birds, our employees, our community and the countryside - and we are proud to be the only UK hen egg producer to have been awarded Conservation Grade status.
